Free Travel Facility for Person Suffering from Various Diseases
About this scheme
Launched on 7th May, 2021, the scheme “Free Travel Facility for Person Suffering from Various Diseases” by the Rajasthan State Transport Corporation under the Transport Department, Government of Rajasthan aims to support persons suffering from Haemophilia, Asnkramak Leprosy, Autism Disease, Multliple Sclerosis Disease, Chronic Neurological Conditions, Perkins Disease, Multiple Disablities (Deaf/Blind), Acid Attack Victim, Thalassemia, Muscular Dystrophy and Sickle Cell Disease through providing free bus travel to eligible beneficiaries within operational RSRTC routes.
Benefits
- Free Travel Facility: Eligible beneficiaries are provided free travel in Rajasthan State Transport Corporation(RSRTC ) buses. - Coverage of Buses: The benefit is applicable to ordinary and express category RSRTC bus services. - Route Applicability: The facility is available only on routes where RSRTC buses are operational.
Who is Eligible
Applicant must be a native resident of Rajasthan.
Applicant should not be an income tax payer.
Applicant must have Certificate (with 40%) issued from authorized subject specialist for Haemophilia Patient, Asnkramak Leprosy, Autism Disease , Mutliple Sclerosis Disease, Chronic Neurological Conditions, Perkins Disease, Multiple Disabilities (Deaf/Blind), Acid Attack Victim, Thalassemia, Muscular Dystrophy, and Sickle Cell Disease.

Step 1: The applicant should obtain a medical certificate from an authorized medical board constituted by the Government of Rajasthan.
Step 2: The applicant should collect all required documents for verification.
Step 3: The applicant should apply for the issuance of an RSRTC RFID card at the designated center.
Step 4: After successful verification, the RFID card is issued and used to avail free travel in eligible RSRTC buses.
