Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay has ordered a five-year age relaxation for government job aspirants appearing in competitive examinations, over and above existing concessions. The relief runs for five years from October 30, 2026. For Group 1 services, the general category ceiling rises from 32 to 37 and for reserved categories from 37 to 42.
