Frequently asked questions
Plans, payments, cancellation and refunds for Sevak AI and the rest of the site, in plain words. The policy pages are the binding text; this page explains them.
What can I do for free?
Reading news, browsing schemes and a daily allowance of Sevak AI questions, saved chats, saved schemes and news bookmarks are free for every signed-in account. The current free limits are shown on the Free card of the Plans and top-ups page.
What does a paid plan give me?
A higher daily number of Sevak AI questions and more room to save chats and schemes, for 30 days (monthly) or 365 days (annual). The cards on the Plans and top-ups page list exactly what each plan includes; a dash means the feature is not part of that plan.
What is a top-up, and how is it different from a plan?
A top-up adds one thing to a paid plan, for example 100 extra Sevak AI questions or unlimited saved chats. It needs an active paid plan and ends when that plan ends, so buy top-ups early in your plan period. Unused credits lapse with the plan.
Monthly or annual: what is the difference?
Monthly runs 30 days. Annual runs 365 days, is paid once, and costs less per month; the cards show the per-month price with the yearly total underneath. Both are one-time payments.
Does my plan renew automatically?
No. We never store your UPI ID, card or any payment instrument, so nothing can be charged without you. When a plan ends you decide whether to buy again. If you buy the same plan before it ends, the new period starts when the current one finishes; no days are lost.
What happens when my plan ends?
Your account returns to the free limits. Nothing you saved is deleted; you just cannot add more beyond the free limit until you buy again. Top-ups that were tied to the plan end with it.
How do I pay?
By UPI, through Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd.: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or any UPI app. The gateway asks for a mobile number for its receipt; we do not use it for anything else. Your UPI PIN is entered only in your own UPI app and never reaches us or the gateway.
Money was debited but my plan is not active. What now?
Wait a few minutes and open the Plans and top-ups page again; activation is automatic once the bank confirms, at most within one working day. If the payment failed at the bank, the amount comes back to your account within five to seven working days. Still stuck? Write to [email protected] with the order ID and the UPI reference (UTR).
Do I get a receipt or invoice?
The payment gateway sends a receipt by SMS or email, and your Plans page lists every purchase with its order ID. Prices shown are final; no tax is added at checkout.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time from the Plans page. Because nothing renews on its own, cancelling simply records that you do not plan to continue; you keep what you paid for until the end date.
Can I get a refund?
Within 7 days of purchase, yes, if you have not used any paid benefit (no Sevak AI questions, downloads or credits since the purchase). After any use, no refund: the service was delivered. Failed or duplicate charges are always reversed in full. Details and how to ask are in the Refunds and cancellation policy.
Can I move to a bigger plan in the middle of a period?
Buy the bigger plan whenever you like. Both run side by side: the highest daily limit applies, credits add up, and the earlier plan keeps running to its own end date. We do not pro-rate the remaining days of the smaller plan.
What do you store about my payments?
The order ID, amount, date, payment method, the UPI reference the gateway reports, and the mobile number you gave for the receipt. We keep these records as long as Indian law requires. We never receive your UPI PIN, card number or bank login. More in our Privacy policy.
How do I reach you?
Write to [email protected]. We acknowledge within two working days. The Refunds and cancellation policy lists our grievance officer for escalations.
