Operation Trident: 38 raids across three states, 18 arrests and 1,424 bank accounts frozen

Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Sunday that 38 teams raided 38 locations across Assam, Mizoram and Manipur on October 23, arresting 18 people and freezing 1,424 bank accounts. The government said the operation uncovered about Rs 100 crore in hawala transactions, attached properties worth Rs 17.82 crore and seized 500 detonators. Shah said the network ran drugs through the India-Myanmar-Bangladesh corridor.
