Waqf Board row ends as Kanthapuram faction calls off protests
Kerala's Minority Welfare Minister N. Samsudheen said a consensus had been reached with Muslim factions unhappy over the reconstituted State Waqf Board. The Kanthapuram faction will get a nominee on the board and has called off its protests. The government dissolved the old board last week.
