ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan said on Sunday that India plans four functional launch pads by 2029 and a 2,000-acre Small Satellite Launch Vehicle complex at Kulasekarapattinam in Tamil Nadu. The first uncrewed Gaganyaan test is planned within two months, to be followed by two more, and Chandrayaan-5 will be a joint lunar mission with Japan carrying a 350-kg rover.
