Iran said four tankers caught fire after hitting mines in the Strait of Hormuz, a day after the US military said key routes had been cleared, while Yemen's Houthis claimed six attacks on Saudi airports and oil facilities. Brent crude rose 2.3% to $117.7 in Asian trade, its highest intraday level since April 30. India imports most of its crude.
