At 11.51 pm, a launch to put NavIC's spine back: ISRO flies a rocket with a risky change
ISRO will launch the NVS-03 navigation satellite on the GSLV-F18 rocket from Sriharikota at 11.51 pm on Friday. The 2,232-kg satellite goes into a geosynchronous transfer orbit, and ISRO will fly it with its pyrotechnic valves already open, a departure from protocol meant to avoid the connector failure that stranded NVS-02 in January 2025.
