ISRO's GSLV-F18 placed the 2,250-kg NVS-03 navigation satellite in orbit on Friday night, restoring capacity to NavIC, which had been hobbled since a defunct atomic clock on IRNSS-1F failed in March. ISRO chairman V. Narayanan said about 80 per cent of launch-related spending goes to Indian private and public companies.
