Box office crosses Rs 4,000 crore in a quarter for the first time as PVR INOX posts record profit

Gross box office collections in India reached Rs 4,443 crore in the September quarter, up 23 per cent, the first time the Rs 4,000-crore mark has been crossed in a quarter. PVR INOX reported revenue of Rs 2,133 crore and a 111 per cent jump in profit after tax to Rs 273.3 crore.
