Not talking about building the Siang dam yet, says Pema Khandu as a 36-hour bandh empties Upper Siang

No decision has been taken on the 11,200-MW Siang Upper Multipurpose Project and only a pre-feasibility report is being prepared, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said on Monday evening. He said a PFR does not amount to approval for construction. The Congress has demanded the project be scrapped and a 36-hour bandh began on Monday.
