Padma Awardee Free Travel Facility

Launched on 24th May, 2010, the scheme “Padma Awardee Free Travel Facility” by the Rajasthan State Transport Corporation under the Transport Department, Government of Rajasthan, aims to provide free travel facilities in Rajasthan State Transport Corporation buses to eligible Rajasthan residents who are Padma Award recipients and gallantry medal awardees, as a mark of honor and recognition for their distinguished service.

• Free Travel Facility: Eligible beneficiaries are provided free travel in Rajasthan State Transport Corporation(RSRTC ) buses. - Coverage of Buses: The benefit is applicable across all categories of RSRTC buses, including air-conditioned and Volvo buses. - Route Applicability: The facility is available only on routes where RSRTC buses are operational.
  

• The applicant should be a native resident of Rajasthan.
• The applicant should be a recipient of a Padma Award conferred by the President of India.
• The applicant should be a recipient of a gallantry medal from the Armed Forces.

Offline

Step 1: The applicant should submit the gallantry Award and Padma Award certificate for verification.
Step 2: The applicant should approach the RSRTC Headquarters, Jaipur for document submission.
Step 3: After successful verification, the competent authority issues an identity card or RFID card.
Step 4: The applicant can thereafter avail free travel in eligible RSRTC buses using the issued card.
