About this scheme
Launched on 17th June, 2016, the scheme “Journalist Free Travel Facility (Luxury)” by the Rajasthan State Transport Corporation under the Transport Department, Government of Rajasthan, aims to facilitate professional movement through providing free travel on eligible express bus services to accredited journalists.

- Free Travel Facility: Eligible beneficiaries are provided free travel in Rajasthan State Transport Corporation(RSRTC ) buses. - Coverage of Buses: The benefit is applicable to air-conditioned and Volvo buses. - Route Applicability: The free travel facility is valid for journeys within Rajasthan and up to Delhi only.
Who is Eligible
- The applicant should be a native resident of Rajasthan.
- The applicant should be a journalist approved on the basis of a valid identity card issued by the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Rajasthan.

Step 1: The applicant should obtain a valid identity card issued by the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Rajasthan.
Step 2: The applicant should apply for or possess an RFID card issued by the Rajasthan State Transport Corporation.
Step 3: The applicant should present the RFID card and travel coupon at the time of travel to avail the free travel facility.
